Two deer

Two deer.

12/04/18

Two deer on a lake stick out like tame squirrels in a suit pocket so docile and free.

Like I am the wild and the wild is me.

A compilation of serenity.

A blindfold of full colour.

Reflected in the like.

I’m both me and my brother.

Nestled in the woods.

I was extremely lucky recently to attent a residence with the most stunning garden, a complete fifteen acre garden with another 80 plus acres on beyond that. However the fifteen alone were jaw droppingly awe inspiring. My writing could never do it justice, however the next few are my feeble attempts at capturing a sliver of that beauty at least in memory if not in heart.

Nestled in the woods.

11/04/18

Nestled places in the woods protected by the trees.

Hidden little alcoves, the wind beneath the leaves.

Ancient gnarled roots, the granddad of the earth.

A bond the spinal chord could break a beating of the heart.

A sap wrenched disgusting plunge into the great applaud.

Nestled places in the woods protected by the trees.

Hidden little alcoves, the wind beneath the leaves.
