Short poems, Tom Orrow

Tom Orrow – Onion.

Tom Orrow – Onion.
15th July.

Tom Orrow  knows you’re like an onion with so many layers of purity and trust.
So many layers of personality,
Overtly shell hard like life’s calamity, unorthodox and chaotic.
A religious parody.
Tom Orrow knows you don’t feel worthwhile.
Lean on me they don’t understand all heart in hand, hold me close.
Friend come lets make plans.
Tom Orrow knows what you need to hide.
To die inside his world a while, to steal your smile.
Come cry for me.
Tom Orrow rules with unity.
None for you.
All for me.
Tom Orrow.
Tom Orrow.
Tom Orrow.

So, so beautiful.

So, so beautiful.

15/04/18

It’s like she doesn’t understand how much I’m taken.

Those powerful lines of integration.

The smell of the ocean inside her thighs.

The shine of the moon beyond her eyes.

A metaphysical redundancy where the logic gave up.

She’s Opal Fruits and Starburst filled with a rough love.

Dancing glaciers.

A broken radius.

Bespoke unity in a world not made for us.

Cold clarity.

Harsh reality.

Dance anyway, else the show stops for me.

It’s a pity too,

What’s so cold can be so beautiful.

Full and complete

Full and complete.

23/03/18

Full and complete beneath the sheets as emotion hits wonderlust like snow meets sleet.

Bare feet and crisp white sheets hand in hand.

Coffee with no plans.

Warm stone towards a never never kind of home where a parrot squawks and curtains blow gently.

A manly hand clasps a pillow as a wind up car makes its way along the bedroom floor ruining any plans he had of driving – but he’s still smiling.

Give me your kingdom and you could keep it.

Reap what you sow.

I’ll take mine neat.

Marriage

Marriage
25/7/13

A marriage isn’t arranged or planned.
It’s captured in the eyes.
A marriage isn’t confused or trusted.
There’s no such thing as lies.
A marriage can’t rust or turn to dust,
There’s no age in eternal lust.
A marriage is wise in any age.
Eyes and love are the setting and stage.
